NJCAA Eligibility

For the upcoming 2020-21 spring athletic season, NJCAA member colleges are required to submit eligibility for each sport prior to the team's first competition date, as noted in Article V of the NJCAA Bylaws.   • The NJCAA has provided an optional master eligibility worksheet. Member colleges are not required to complete or submit, but is available as a resource. To access the optional eligibility worksheet, visit: Eligibility Worksheet.
  • Upon submitting eligibility, an email confirmation will be received. The email confirmation should be saved and will serve as a record if the member college is audited by the National Office.

NJCAA Letters of Intent (LOI)
To sign or release student-athletes for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic year, as well as search for 2019-20, 2020-21, and 2021-22 student-athletes who have already been signed to or released from an LOI, visit: NJCAA Letters of Intent.  

  • All remaining Letters of Intent for the 2020-21 academic year will be submitted through the new platform.  
  • All Letters of Intent for the 2020-21 or 2019-20 academic year that were previously signed or released have been transitioned to the new platform for search needs.    
  • Beginning November 1, 2020, all Letters of Intent for the 2021-22 academic year will be submitted through the new platform.
  • The LOI document does NOT need to be submitted to the National Office but should be stored internally for future audits.
  • Upon submitting a letter of intent, an email confirmation will be received. The email confirmation should be saved and will serve as a record if the member college is audited by the National Office.
